Muito do que vemos e vivemos é novidade. As relações hierárquicas, os valores e as formas de inspirar pessoas e de negociar pactos e situações são totalmente diferentes das referências antigas. Isto tem demandado esforços de todos, sobretudo dos líderes, para se adaptarem rápida e eficazmente.

Esta realidade traz consigo um nível de cobrança que resulta em mais competição e até mesmo em performances pessoais e profissionais inconstantes: quem está no topo agora pode ir ao chão a qualquer momento e vice-versa. O sucesso sustentável, ou seja, aquele que se mantém por um período depois de conquistado, requer que estejamos atentos a 4 aspectos:

1. Criar objetivos reais e atingíveis
É preciso ter, em primeiro lugar, equilíbrio, planejamento, foco e disciplina, para conscientizar-se de sua real situação. Certifique-se de que esta meta é possível de ser atingida, que ela é importante para você e que conseguirá, a tempo, todos os recursos de que precisará.

2. Saber que tudo em sua vida tem você mesmo como principal fator desencadeante
Se planeje para saber o quer conseguir a curto prazo, pois subir um degrau de cada vez é a maneira mais segura de chegar ao topo da escada.

3. Compreender as pessoas
Tente ver o mundo a partir da perspectiva do outro, a fim de promover a melhor relação e de instituir e manter canais eficazes de comunicação. Provavelmente você dependerá de outras pessoas e os interesses delas certamente diferem dos seus.

4. Comunicar-se de maneira eficiente
Exerça influência positiva para desenvolver relações onde todos ganham. Faça isto a partir do ponto de vista do outro, pintando um quadro de um mundo que eles desejam.

Por fim, ter a competência de construir consensos é o maior diferencial de quem pretende conquistar o sucesso permanente. Felizmente, as habilidades descritas acima podem ser desenvolvidas justamente como ferramentas para auxiliar neste caminho. Portanto, terá sucesso por mais tempo quem melhor usar seu tempo agora para se preparar adequadamente.
