Por conta disso, não é muito difícil imaginar o estrago que erros cometidos nesse papel podem causar. Uma pesquisa feita pela Career Builder revelou o que faria os recrutadores descartarem automaticamente um candidato.

E a maior parte deles parece não gostar de erros de ortografia e digitação. Dos mais de 2 mil recrutadores entrevistados, 61% afirmaram que descartaria na hora um candidato que apresentasse um currículo com esse tipo de problema. Ainda, 41% dos recrutadores não aceitam candidatos que copiam em seus currículos partes da descrição do emprego para qual está se candidatando.

O que mais desclassifica os candidatos

Mas os problemas não param por ai. Dos entrevistados, 35% descartam currículos com endereços de e-mail “inapropriados”. Por mais que você tenha um mundo de informações sobre você, é importante aprender a selecionar os itens mais importantes para adicionar no currículo. Isso porque, 22% dos entrevistados disseram que currículos com mais de duas páginas simplesmente não são lidos.

Outros erros apontados na pesquisa foram: currículos impressos em papel decorado – o candidato seria descartado automaticamente por 20% dos selecionadores -, currículos que contém fotos, motivo de desclassificação para 13% dos selecionadores. Por fim os currículos que descrevem mais tarefas do que resultados também são motivos para descarte, para 16% dos empregadores.

Os recrutadores também listaram os currículos com as informações mais incomuns que já caíram em suas mãos. Entre elas estão currículos de candidatos que se auto definem como gênios e que convidam os selecionadores a irem até o apartamento deles.

A pesquisa foi realizada pela CareerBuilder com 2.298 recrutadores norte-americanos, entre os meses de maio e junho deste ano.
